Privacy Policy

Motezy is local-first. It does not require a Motezy account, upload TV names or network addresses, collect viewing history, or include advertising trackers.

Information stored on your device

Paired TV details and preferences are stored locally. Pairing credentials are stored in the device's system-provided secure credential storage (Keychain or Keystore), which is hardware-backed where the device supports it. Remote commands travel directly between your phone and TV over the local network.

Private product counters

You may opt into aggregate feature-use counters stored only on your device. They contain no identifiers, timestamps, TV details, or network addresses, are never uploaded, and can be cleared in Settings.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by the app store you bought Motezy from and managed through RevenueCat. Those providers receive purchase and device or account information needed to validate entitlements under their own privacy policies. Motezy uses an anonymous RevenueCat customer identifier and does not require a Motezy account.

Diagnostics

If you choose Share diagnostics, Motezy creates a report containing app and runtime versions, TV platform/model categories, validation status, and recent connection messages. Pairing tokens, IP addresses, and TV or room names are excluded. You choose whether and where to send it through the system share sheet.

Children

Motezy is a utility app not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
